Saxophones

As a Grade 8 level saxophonist (alto) with a decade of playing experience, I have regularly performed in theatrical pits and musical ensembles to a high standard. My experience ranges from specific orchestrations for musical concerts to full production with the original arrangements.

Previous credits include: Chicago (Reed 3); Anything Goes (Combo Version: Reed 2)

Though not a clarinettist, I have experience of taking clarinet lines and playing them on the appropriate saxophone, something I am fully prepared to do in your production, as well as providing the relevant transposition myself if required.

I currently have regular access to alto, tenor and soprano saxophones, and would be willing to look into acquiring a suitable baritone saxophone for your production should this be necessary.

Away from the theatre, I am also available for hire as a saxophonist for all other functions- e.g. jazz band dep, concerts, solo events or studio recordings or tracks or demos.

I am a flexible, affordable and competenet musician, with a great passion for music making and a hard-working attitude. Keyboards

Though not my principle study instrument, I have been developing my keyboard skills over many years to enable me to provide keyboard accompaniment for singers and performances.

I feel my keyboard facilities most suit the demands of a patch-heavy, additional instrument keyboard book (most commonly given to the Keys 2 or 3 books, but sometimes Keys 1 also), where the focus is largely on additional timbres and single lines. I am available for hire for a range of these books within the amateur/ semi-professional production market, and would also be happy to provide my own MainStage programming as part of my fee. (And further programming for an additional cost).

I am a passionate and committed player with a great love for and knowledge of musical theatre, and would love to be part of your production if I am able to.
