Music Notes

Music Theory is a crucial skill in the development of many performers, instrumentalists sand musicians. Understanding the way we interpret and present music is often crucial to expanding our skills and participating in musical projects.

For young musicians, Grade 5 Theory is also the barrier to progressing through higher instrumental or singing grades- which are important for UCAS points and higher education.

TESTIMONIALS

"I have been working with Nicholas for the past year on music theory both face to face and via Zoom (through pandemic and all) during which time we’ve worked through Grades 1-4. I’ve really enjoyed these sessions and am delighted in the amount of progress I have made; Nicholas is a genuinely great teacher and makes theory easy to grasp and understand, whilst being a really nice guy to spend time with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicholas to anyone who would like support in learning music theory. "
